What made it possible for the Påhlman family to build these thriving companies and become one of the most prominent business families in Ystad during the 20th century was their strong entrepreneurial spirit, i.e. their willingness to face challenges and seize opportunities, to learn from failures, to adapt to changing market conditions, to be innovative, to be resilient when needed, and their focus on continuous improvement, growth and achieving goals. This digital exhibition was put together by Martin Carl Fredrik Wilhelm Gustaf Johan Påhlman in 2023 and has been made possible thanks to generous contributions from Ystads Kommun, Ystads Kulturhistoriska Förening, Järnvägsmuseet and Företagarna Ystad.
